Introduction
In January 2019, Generation Schools Imhoff opened its doors to students from the ages of 18 months to Exit. The campus, nestled in the heart of Kommetjie, boasts state-of-the-art facilities and will soon be the first campus to have its very own skatepark! Stay tuned for some more exciting developments happening at Imhoff.

Caronne qualified with a Higher Diploma of Education, majoring in Remedial Studies, and has also completed her Montessori Diploma. She has worked in many private schools in South Africa, as well as abroad, and has finally found her calling in educational leadership. ‘I thrive in the Generation Schools environment, as it fulfils my dream of igniting the passion for learning in children.’

| Soccer | Optional All Year Extra Mural Sport. (Term-1, Term-2 & Term-3 & Term-4) Soccer is one of our flagship sports. It is our most participated team sport within the school. Our astroturf field with floodlights makes for an amazing atmosphere at the Imhoff campus. Monday & Wednesday between 14h00 and 16h15. Girls Soccer Tuesday & Thursday between 14h45 and 15h30 |
| Rugby | Optional Winter Extra Mural Sport. (Term-2 & Term-3) Rugby Sevens at our school is increasing in participation. The players are improving and having fun every week. Tuesday & Thursday between 14h00 and 16h1 |
| Swimming | Optional All Year Extra Mural Sport. (Term-1, Term-2 & Term-3 & Term-4) Swimming is extremely popular amongst our students and the greater community. We offer school squad swimming in which children compete in galas against various schools. Imhoff has a Private Learn to Swim Programme that is expertly run alongside our swimming academy. Our amazing Aquatic Centre boasts a learn to swim and 25m pool. |
| Surfing | Optional All Year Extra Mural Sport. (Term-1, Term-2 & Term-3 & Term-4) Very popular with the local children in the surrounding communities, Imhoff campus will be competing in the Western Province Surfing League In Term 2 & 3, putting the Generation Brand out there. Monday & Wednesday 15h00-16h30. |
| Water Polo | Optional All Year Extra Mural Sport. (Term-1, Term-2 & Term-3 & Term-4) Water Polo is very popular at our campus. ORCA Water Polo Club also offer Private Sessions. Our amazing aquatic centre sets the tone. Monday & Wednesday between 14h45 and 16h15Movement is a program that takes place weekly during the morning work cycle for our 3-6 phase students. It has become an intricate part of the physical gross motor development of each student through activities that develop hand-eye coordination, balance, and core strength. |
| Tennis | Optional All Year Extra Mural Sport. (Term-1, Term-2 & Term-3 & Term-4) Tennis is extremely popular at Imhoff. Our teams participate in the school provincial leagues. One of our students is ranked Number 8 in the Western Cape. We offer school and private lessons, which are booked with our coach Elana Bosini. |
| Hockey | Optional Winter Extra Mural Sport. (Term-2 & Term-3) Hockey is growing slowly but surely. The players are learning skills and improving each week. Tuesday & Thursday between 14h00 and 16h15. |
| Cricket | Optional Summer Extra Mural Sport. (Term-1 & Term-4) Our mini cricket programme is increasing with participation and has a bright future. Tuesday & Thursday 14h00-16h15. |
| Skateboarding | Optional All Year Extra Mural Sport. (Term-1, Term-2 & Term-3 & Term-4) Skateboarding has various options as it is extremely popular. Our students can skate in various open sessions, as well as join the Private Skate Club, with activities and extended skate times. We also offer private skate lessons booked through Quicket with our coach, Thalente Biyela. |

A training discipline where students aim to get from one point to another in a complex environment, without assisting equipment and in the fastest and most efficient way possible. Very popular and lots of fun! Takes places every Tuesday for 8 weeks. 3-6, 6-9, 9-12 & 13-18. 8 lessons for the Term. |
| Vivo Soccer School | Optional All Year Extra Mural Sport. (Term-1, Term-2 & Term-3 & Term-4) Private Soccer Lessons in Small groups with a qualified UEFA A License Coach implementing European ethos of Football. 2022 development into a soccer club for the community. | Music – Guitar | Optional All Year Extra Mural Sport. (Term-1, Term-2 & Term-3 & Term-4) Guitar is a program that takes place weekly for our 9-12, 12-15 phase students. Students are offered the necessary skills and content needed to play various songs on the acoustic guitar to backing tracks whilst being helped to prepare for performances. This would include learning various chord shapes, progressions and basic music theory. |

| GenChef | Optional All Year Extra Mural Sport. (Term-1, Term-2 & Term-3 & Term-4) GenChef offers cooking classes from basic prepping to achieving one’s signature dish, this is one of the best ways to learn important life skills. It will teach students how to improve everyday life skills – eating healthy, budgeting, health and safety as well as cleaning. Students will engage in positive sensory experiences with a variety of healthy foods. They will learn about world cultures, customs and flavours, identify personal food preferences and practise food preparation and presentation skills.
